Harvest Baptist Church

Elizabethton, TN 37643

You can't miss our beautiful building at the entrance of Historic Downtown Elizabethton on East F Street. We have many parking spots available at the church, and additional parking located across the street in the parking lot located at the corner of East F Street and Holston Ave. As you enter the building, a greeter will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you may have.

Most adults attend the morning worship service at 11:00 where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, quartets, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message. This service is approximately one hour in length. Also, LifeStage Adult Bible Classes meet at 10:00. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people and hear a Bible lesson directly applicable to your stage of life. The best way to get to know people at Harvest Baptist Church is to visit one of these LifeStage Adult Bible Classes.

  • Where do I take my children?

Starting with an excellent nursery, there is something special for every child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children two years old and under.

Children three years old through sixth grade experience fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

Our greeters and ushers are located in the lobby as well as around campus and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place.

  • What about my teens?

Our student ministries include our 7th – 12th grade young people. They have their own Lifestage class, where they will hear an applicable Bible Lesson together every Sunday.  Ushers and greeters would be happy to show you where this class is located. Most of the teens attend during the 10:00 hour and the worship service with their parents during the 11:00 hour.

  • How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Harvest Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress; however, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Harvest Baptist!

  • Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. We don't invite you to Harvest Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

  • Other questions?

If there's something we missed on this list, just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Harvest Baptist will be awesome! We exist to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally. We hope you'll feel right at home from the very first moment you step onto campus! Let us know how we can serve you better, and we hope to meet you this Sunday!
